In English we had to write a speech that was 2 to 3 minuets long. We had to chose a topic on then we had to write the speech about that topic the speech had to be 4 paragraphs. I chose to do a speech about the ocean and what lives in the ocean and why the sea animals need to have the salt water to live. Here is my speech about the ocean.

In food tech we are learning all about food groups and Nutrients. We had to google what thing are food in what food groups and why we need them for our bodies. Here is my slide about Nutrients and why you need them. The Nutrients are Protein, Carbohydrates, Fats(lipids), Vitamins, Minerals and Water. Her is my slide I hope you can learn something from this and tell me something I missed out or something I can improve on next time.

This week our topic Celebration and Festivals and there was three an this was the second one that we had to do.We had to look at a website and write key facts about the festival or the celebration. I chose to do the day of the dead for my blog post. Here is my day of the dead brainstorm I hope that you can tell me what I did well and what I can improve on for my next blog post.

You had to write key facts about the festival or the celebration I think that I did well with putting what they eat but I think I could have put some things that they do to celebrate.

You had to research about Diwali and then write about what happens at Diwali and who celebrates it and what happens in the lead up to the celebration. I think that I did well with what happens at Diwali and who celebrates it, I think that I didn't do well with what other things Indians celebrate and could have put more in

Term 3 Ako Reflection

This is my Prototec results . Prototec is a site online were you can practice your basic facts and in different stages from stage 2-8 depending on what stage you are you do that stage. At the start of this I didn't know that much of these but now I get at least 80% out of 100%. My next step is to get in the 90s instead of 80%

This is my Logo Crossword you had to look at the logo and see if that was the right thing. Most of these logos I knew already but some I didn't know like for example the logo with the red K in it. To figure out what they were I had to search them up. My next step for this is to know all the logos.

This is my Recycle digital poster that we had to make in 30 minutes. First Miss Ayres showed us a slide on what recycling is and how to make a poster. I think that I did well with the colours and making them bold so that they stand out on the background colors. I think my next step for this is to put down the things that can go in the Yellow bin and what can not go in the Yellow bin.
